Kalea Estates is an upcoming 15-hectare community by Wee Comm in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City, near Handumanan Access Road. Kalea means joy, and the community is planned for 1,246 homes with a Hawaiian-inspired theme.
There will be two house types. The Aloha townhouse has about 53.3 square meters of floor area on a 50 square meter lot, with 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets and baths, a carport and a small balcony. The Ohana single attached house has about 80 square meters of floor area on a 96 square meter lot, with 3 bedrooms, a den, 2 toilets and baths, a porch, a carport and a balcony.
Houses are designed for the climate, with high ceilings, large windows and transom windows for light and airflow, and bigger-than-standard bathrooms.
