This is an all time favorite of yuppies as it serves cheep beer along with yummy sumsuman. But this place isn’t limited to beer sessions, (though it was initially that) Sanders also has a wide array of food selection which are very easy on the pocket. You can have a complete meal including drinks for less than Php 100.00!

Sanders serves good ‘ole comfort food but do not expect a high level of finesse. It is simply an unassuming hang out where you can pass by the time with simple food and great friends. The food portions are generally for sharing for two or three persons except for the set value meals.
Sander’s used to be one hidey-hole about 10 years ago where college students would hang out. Now that those college students are working and earning, they remember their old spot. And Sanders has grown. They have several branches, all of which are very accessible for commuters. Parking can be a problem since the restaurants are located in high density areas. The first branch is along Lacson St., before SSS building. There’s another branch along BS Aquino Drive, across 365 Café. Then they also have a branch at the east part of the city, Hi-strip 6 along Circumferential Road, going to the New Government Center.
If commuting, it is easier to visit their Lacson St. branch. If you do have cars, then Hi-strip is the way to go. Though parking can be challenging here as well, but better than parking your cars on the street!
I’ll let you in a little secret! I’ve noticed that portions are bigger in their Hi Strip East Branch! I don’t know why though. But anyway, even in their other branches, portions are more than enough.
Sander’s may not rank high in the list of Bacolod’s must eat places but it has definitely earned a place. Enjoy!
